Joining KMS
To join the Shed, just drop in on any day that the Shed is open (see button for details). If you want to be prepared, download and fill in the membership form below, but a copy will also be available at the Shed.

Fees and costs
Existing members
Annual membership fee: $35 per calendar year. For renewing members annual fees are due in January and if they are not paid by the end of March, membership lapses.
Weekly levy: $5 each week that you attend the Shed (covers multiple visits in a week). This fee covers the basic operational costs of the Shed's workshop and meeting areas.
New members
The fee for a new member joining the Shed for the first time is $40. This includes a joining fee of $5 and the annual membership fee. If you join for the first time in the second half of the year, this fee will cover your membership for the subsequent year at no extra cost.
How to pay
Weekly fee needs to be paid in cash on arrival at the shed. Sign in and put your fee in the box provided.
New member fees or renewals can be paid in cash, EFT, by cheque or given to the day coordinator. The fee should be accompanied by the membership form. You could also mail a cheque and form if you are unable to make it into the Shed (see Contacts page for the address).
EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). If you would prefer to pay by EFT, send us an email requesting EFT details and we will give you the bank details for the Shed account. (see Contacts page for the email address).
