Shed projects are carried out by a group of members, or the Shed as a whole, rather than by individual members.
Some Shed projects are aimed at improving or changing specific Shed facilities or infrastructure. There are also projects aimed at raising funds. The projects shown here are examples only, and are nor a complete list.
The photo on the right shows members working on a new deck at the Shed. This project was completed in 2012.
The Shed also undertakes community projects on a regular basis. While the Shed is not primarily a service provider in community service projects, members can often help out when people are in need.
Shed projects are an important way of engaging members in practical and wortwhile activities. Shed projects often involve working bees where a number of members offer their time to do the work required. These days are a good way to meet people and there is always time for a yarn with other sheddies!
Some of the larger projects require several working bees to complete.
