Fees and costs

The following fees and charges apply to membership of the Katoomba Men's Shed:

Existing members

• Annual membership fee:  $35 per calendar year. For renewing members annual fees are due in January and if they are not paid by the end of March, membership lapses.
• Daily levy:  $4 each day that you attend the Shed, with a maximum of $8 per week for members who attend on multiple days. This fee covers the basic operational costs of the Shed's workshop and meeting areas.

New members

The fee for a new member joining the Shed for the first time is $40. This includes a joining fee of $5 and the annual membership fee. If you join for the first time in the second half of the year, this fee will cover your membership for the subsequent year at no extra cost.

How to pay

Day fees need to be paid in cash on arrival at the shed. Sign in and put your fee in the box provided.

New member fees or renewals can be paid in cash or by cheque given to the day coordinator. The fee should be accompanied by the membership form. You could also mail a cheque and form if you are unable to make it into the Shed (see Contacts page for the address).

We also accept payments by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). If you would prefer to pay by EFT, send us an email and we will give you the bank details for the Shed account. Send us a request for EFT details (see Contacts page for the address).
